for the champagne house
Laurent-Perrier
Objective : To highlight the historical heritage of the house
Laurent-Perrier thanks to custom-made bases
We were contacted by the interior design firm Joie design office to create custom-made bases to showcase certain objects from the Laurent Perrier house.
Joie Design Office worked on the complete renovation of the offices and reception area of this famous champagne house.
This architectural firm redesigned the entire interior design and created a space called the cabinet of curiosities to showcase certain emblematic Laurent-Perrier objects.

and enter the heart of one of the most prestigious champagne houses.

This is the library, designed entirely to measure and conceived as a veritable cabinet of curiosities, housing legendary objects from the Laurent-Perrier house. This is the space we worked on.
We created 3 custom bases for three unique objects, including the following:

The Laurent-Perrier ashtray
Unique piece to be placed on a base to make the LP initials visible.
This ashtray takes the shape of the badges present on the bottles, as in the example below.

The Laurent-Perrier hallmark
Objective: make the punch visible

The Laurent-Perrier Sun Medal
Objective: to present the medal at a height
The inside of the bookcase drawers was also decorated with old champagne labels which we also highlighted in small magnetic plexiglass blocks .

Joie Design Office also recreated a large library by repurposing an old dresser. Inside, they installed lighting fixtures and books beloved by Laurent Perrier.

For the ashtray, a unique and fairly heavy piece, we chose to use brass so that the uprights of the custom-made base perfectly fit the shape of the ashtray.
The custom-made base gives this object an undeniable enhancement. It is presented rather than simply placed on a stand.

For the medal and hallmark, we also chose brass to create custom bases. For the hallmark, the central stem was curved to modernize the whole.
The creation of wooden lecterns for open books

To showcase the iconic books of the Laurent Perrier house
We created a wooden lectern with a steel base and brass retaining pegs.
We were inspired by a model from our catalog.
The plexiglass display for open books is available for sale online.

Now let us enter
in the heart of the Laurent-Perrier house
Like every major house or prestigious brand, Laurent-Perrier has a unique history that has forged its unique character over time.
We then discover that nothing would be possible without the emblematic characters who founded this company in 1812.
It is of course in Champagne and more precisely in Tours sur Loire that everything begins.
This Grand Cru village is located at the crossroads of three main vineyards on plots named Les Plaisances and La Tour Glorieux. And it all began with André-Michel Pierlot . Later, his son took over. But since Pierlot had no descendants, he entrusted what was then commonly called the House to his Cellar Master, Eugène Laurent .
The latter's premature death forced his widow to take over the reins of the company. Her name was Mathilde-Emilie Perrier . She quickly decided to add her name to that of her late husband.
The name Laurent-Perrier was born.
She created the wine "Grand cru sans sucre " in 1889, more likely to please her English customers who were less fond of sweet wines.
His daughter took over the estate in 1925 and sold it in 1939 to Marie-Louise de Nonancourt, widow and mother of three children.

Of his four children, two joined the resistance and only one returned alive.
His name is Bernard de Nonacourt and his sole objective will be to perfect himself in order to create a champagne house in keeping with the times and the ever-increasing demands of his customers.

Thus he innovates in the creation of these champagnes and creates a real brand identity allowing Laurent-Perrier champagnes to be recognized without any hesitation.
Three words characterize this brand which is exported to 160 countries
“Freshness, elegance and purity”.
At the turn of the century, the House restructured with the creation of a Board of Directors and a Supervisory Board.
Today, it is Bernard de Nonancourt's daughters who perpetuate the values of elegance and high standards that make up the Laurent-Perrier brand.

A champagne like no other
Laurent-Perrier champagnes are recognized worldwide for their consistency in taste, vintage after vintage , and for their freshness and elegance.
To reach such a level, Bernard de Nonacourt needed audacity that is rare in the champagne industry.
So, in 1970 , he innovated by equipping himself with stainless steel tanks.

This equipment allows the control of the first cold fermentation.
Understanding that everything depends on temperature control, the House then equipped itself with a thermo-regulated vat room .
A subtle blend of the region's best grapes places Laurent-Perrier among the finest champagnes.
