Indeed, for this Christ on the cross, the request was simple: to hold it on a base with a contemporary result. We painted it blue and added a brass support rod to a barely worked, raw wood base. The result is surprising and unique.

Here, we created a custom wooden base for a cast of Georges Braque. The work on this piece was meticulous. We made what's called an imprint to embed the work directly into the wooden base.
The chosen patina is rather dark while a steel plate has been added as the small detail that makes all the difference.
