Most of the time, a custom base is the result of a conversation with the client who visits our workshop-boutique at the Puces de Paris Saint-Ouen.

We discuss the choice of materials to use, such as steel or wood, for example, or the shape the base should take.

At the end of this conversation, we know whether we should make a steel, brass, or wooden base, as well as the finishes we should apply to the base in question.

Our possibilities are very wide.

If we were to explain our range, we would say that: the entry-level product is steel and our high-end product is the custom brass base.

In any case, these two materials allow for the creation of truly remarkable custom bases. But certain finishes or shapes are only possible with a very specific material.

And then there are extraordinary projects. Exceptional projects that force us to push the boundaries of our work further and further. This is what happened when we created this custom base with a chrome finish.

Why, you ask?

Working with chrome is a very meticulous process. Several steps are necessary to fix the material to the support.
The base is then dipped in chrome material baths. Several baths are necessary to obtain a mirror effect.

It was Liaigre, the famous architectural firm, that entrusted us with the creation of this base.

This custom base is made up of several pieces. Each one is chromed separately.

The client's specific request was for a mirror effect. And only the use of chrome allows this.

The different elements of the base are first made of brass, then subsequently covered with chrome by the bath system.

The custom chrome base benefits from all the advantages associated with custom bases.
