Custom wooden bases are a good alternative to steel or brass. Indeed, with a transparent varnish that reveals the wood's grain, its appearance is vibrant. And even if a color is applied, certain reflections persist.
At La Bulle, we work with wood in our workshop at Les Puces de Paris Saint-Ouen, so we are completely self-sufficient in the creation of these custom bases.
We support you in the making of the base, from the most suitable wood species to the color of the final patina.
The La Bulle Workshop allows us to create wooden bases with coves, which are an undeniable working base for the creation of small custom basing jobs, which we call our "minute basing" service.
As part of this service, we commit to creating small bases in a few hours. A wooden base, in which, most of the time, a rod is fixed with a very simple object-holding system.

Thus, in a brass / plexiglass mix, for example, we use the malleability of brass and the transparency and robustness of plexiglass to create a solid and elegant pedestal.

Production times primarily depend on the size of the object and the material used for the custom base. It is simpler to work with the objects. A deposit slip is made as soon as you entrust us with an object. Your objects are protected by our insurance from the moment they are deposited at our shop.
