Creation of a custom double base for helmet and shield - Galerie Pinto

Custom-made double stand for a helmet and a shield.

Project Nature: Our client wanted to create a stand to display this pair of helmets and shields. The constraints immediately imposed on us were to make these custom-made stands fit into two predetermined size niches. We therefore had to keep this constraint in mind throughout the entire production of the stands.

We are used to making stands for headwear of all kinds. For this project, we therefore grafted a stand for headwear designed to hold the helmet onto a rod. This rod has a curve designed to hold the shield.
The challenge was to strictly adhere to the spatial constraints of the niches and to create a harmonious and coherent helmet/shield ensemble.

Details of the helmet stand.

Several details had to be specified to achieve the desired result for the client, considering the numerous constraints already mentioned.

Detail: holes made to fix the stand inside the niches
Detail: The choice of patination is left to the client, here a slightly mottled brown.

Here is this feat of a custom stand for shields and helmets.
