The Bubble and the RMN (Réunion des Musées Nationaux) Pop-up Store
Project type: Create two steel supports for the new Réunion des Musées Nationaux store on Rue de Rivoli in Paris
Our partnership with the Réunion des Musées Nationaux continues this year with a somewhat crazy project: to create black steel cages with encircled shelves for their first store project on Rue de Rivoli in Paris.
Our first meeting allowed us to learn about the store project, this time outside of a museum.
The theme is the circus, and five worlds were created in keeping with this theme.
Our involvement concerns the creation of six black steel half-cages where reproductions of Pompon the sculptor's bear, as well as other animals inspired by this famous bear visible at the Musée d'Orsay, will be placed.

Here are our half-cages before installation in the Rue de Rivoli store. They are made of black painted steel, the spacing of the bars is different depending on the model, thus giving the impression that the animals are escaping from the cages.

Our half-cages in what will be the future store of the Réunion des Musées Nationaux, Boutiques de musées.
At this stage, the paintings are not yet installed, and it is difficult to imagine the final result.

And here is the final result: a remarkable staging of our half-cages with small sculptures inside. The circus universe is truly enhanced thanks to this daring and original store project.
The other request was to create a steel shelf encircled with circles of different sizes.

The "circle" steel shelves painted white.

Detail of the circle shelf fixings - Easy to use, they attach like classic shelves.

Here are the shelves staged in the Pop-up store on rue Rivoli. The result is more than stunning. Garlands have been added to give a luminous touch to the whole. The circle shelves support busts displaying, among other things, the feather jewelry from Anagold
The pop-up store opens onto two streets, one on the Rivoli side and the other on the François Miron side.
