OUR PROJECTS WITH LONGCHAMP

For several years we have been working regularly with the Longchamp brand.
Our services for this brand are diverse, often pushing the boundaries of our expertise.
Crates, plexiglass blocks, small wooden card holders or even the latest wooden pedestal project.

Nature of Projects:

Project 1: Participation in the transformation of the Maison Plisson grocery store into a "Longchamp market" by installing Longchamp-stamped market crates
Project 2: Sale of 2000 plexiglass displays for in-store display
Project 3: Creation and production of 270 cushions for all Longchamp boutiques around the world as part of their window displays.
Project 4: Creation of a pedestal for the brand corner at Le Bon Marché

The Longchamp Market

As part of a press event, the Longchamp brand wanted to transform the famous luxury grocery store Maison Plisson into the Longchamp Market. The goal was for guests to wander through the market surrounded by Longchamp bags and products.
For the effect to be truly perfect, it was necessary to get as close as possible to the reality of a market.
The idea of using crates quickly appeared to be the most relevant.
We were asked to supply approximately 70 Longchamp-branded crates.
To do this, we had stamps made with the brand's image. One with the Longchamp name and another with their logo, the galloping horse.
All the crates were hand-stamped and stored in our workshop at the Puces de Paris Saint Ouen
We took care of the delivery on site.

As with all our collaborations, we start with a preparatory drawing.
For this project, the main difficulty was finding a way to customize the crates in a rigorous manner, taking into account the porosity of the crate wood and the customer's requirements.
It quickly became apparent that a stamp system was the most suitable solution. Thanks to our network of professionals, we were able to respond quickly, and our stamps were ready in less than 24 hours. We had two stamps made.
The personalization of the crates using stamps was done by hand in less than 24 hours.
This project, like many others, had very tight deadlines.
Everything was delivered on time by us directly to the event location.

Plexiglass document holders with magnets

Presentation of the product through 3D modeling. This work allows us to specify the details of the display. Dimensions, thickness, materials
Storage of 2000 displays in its manufacturing plant in Ile de France

Creation of an explanatory user guide for store staff, inserted by hand into each of the displays.

Packing and labeling of boxes for delivery
This project truly represents our core business.
Indeed, we are specialists in the presentation of objects and works of art in plexiglass, both standard and custom-made.

Once the request was formalized, we quickly provided a 3D prototype drawing of our display so that the Longchamp teams could get a feel for it. Thanks to this preparatory tool, we were able to specify certain product details, dimensions, and key features.
This magnetic display represents the top of the range in plexiglass presentation. It consists of two 5mm thick plates joined by four magnets. These magnets located at the four corners are extremely strong. By purchasing this product, the Longchamp team knows they can reuse them regularly in their stores. These displays can be handled many times without losing their shine.
To provide our customers with efficient and high-quality service, we have created an explanatory note for store staff. For example, it is essential to remove the blue protective layer to achieve the transparent effect of the plexiglass.
This notice was inserted by hand between each part of the display. We also managed the packaging and trucking of the 2,000 displays for shipping.
For this project, we control the entire production chain, from the initial request to shipping.

Cushions for the Christmas 2020 window display

Reception of the velvet rolls supplied by Longchamp

Production of 48/48cm cushions in a clothing workshop in Saint-Ouen.
Boxed in pairs with packaging and shipping logistics to all stores worldwide.
Staging of the cushions in the windows of the Champs Elysées boutique.

Unlike the display project, this one pushed us beyond the limits of our expertise and our network. And we admit, we really enjoyed it. This time, the task was to create 270 cushions. Some were made in velvet for the flagship stores, and the other in suede. The specifications were clear: 270 cushions measuring 48 centimeters on each side, in green velvet and suede. This green is the brand's emblematic color. Thanks to this request, we met new trades, such as the fabric wholesalers at the Saint-Pierre market and the clothing workshop located a stone's throw from our store, which carried out the entire production.
So we add another string to our bow.
Once the cushions were boxed up in pairs, all that remained was to affix their shipping labels. A very meticulous and rigorous job. Finally, once everything was labeled, a carrier came to collect the entire production. And our little cushions, made in a workshop at the Puces de Paris Saint-Ouen, now sit proudly on 5th Avenue or Regent's Street, and we are very proud of that.
Once again we were there to check, correct and validate each stage of production.

In order to offer you a turnkey service ranging from design to packaging production, we have created a packaging station opposite our store. You will find retail packaging materials, cardboard boxes, tape, and bubble wrap envelopes. This is also where we produce our custom packaging for, among other things, antique dealers at the Paris Saint-Ouen Flea Market. This service is a real plus because it allows us to be present and validate the final stage of the project, namely packaging and shipping.
We thus gain in autonomy and responsiveness.

Wooden pedestal for the brand corner at Le Bon Marché.

Nature of the project: as part of Longchamp's collaboration with Toilet Paper magazine, the brand wanted to create a pedestal to hold a rod with a resin horse.
Installation completely in the spirit of the magazine, whose visuals are often very pop and colorful.

For this project, we are not breaking the rules and are starting with a preparatory drawing created by computer. This drawing is also provided to the client so that they can validate the dimensions and finishes.
Preparatory study for pedestal project.

We made this pedestal from wood veneer with very precise finishes to achieve the most successful effect possible.
To create this pedestal, we worked by combining two types of cornice so that the finishes were as successful as possible.
On-site installation and application of the decorative sticker
Installing the horse on the pedestal.
Two holes had previously been made in the pedestal so that the rod would fit perfectly.

And here is the result.
The pedestal is covered with a brand-related sticker. The brand's emblematic horse has taken center stage. The corner is ready to welcome its customers in the best possible conditions.
