OUR PROJECTS WITH LONGCHAMP
For several years, we have been regularly collaborating with the Longchamp brand.
Our services for this brand are diverse, often pushing the limits of our expertise.
From crates, plexiglass blocks, small wooden card holders, to the latest wooden pedestal project.

Project Nature:
Project 1: Participation in the transformation of the Maison Plisson grocery store into a "Longchamp market" by installing market crates stamped Longchamp
Project 2: Sale of 2000 plexiglass displays for in-store display
Project 3: Creation and production of 270 cushions for all Longchamp boutiques worldwide as part of their window display.
Project 4: Creation of a pedestal for the brand's corner at Le Bon Marché
The Longchamp Market
As part of a press event, the Longchamp brand wanted to transform the famous luxury grocery store Maison Plisson into a Longchamp Market. The goal was for guests to stroll through the market surrounded by Longchamp bags and products.
For the effect to be truly perfect, it was necessary to get as close as possible to the reality of a market.
The idea of using crates quickly emerged as the most relevant.
We were asked to supply approximately 70 Longchamp-stamped crates.
To do this, we had stamps made with the brand's image. One with the Longchamp name and another with their logo, the galloping horse.

All the crates were hand-stamped and stored in our workshop at the Puces de Paris Saint Ouen.
We handled on-site delivery.

As with all our collaborations, we start with a preliminary drawing.
For this project, the main difficulty was finding a way to personalize the crates rigorously, considering the porosity of the crate wood and the client's demands.
For this project, the main difficulty was finding a way to personalize the crates rigorously, considering the porosity of the crate wood and the client's demands.
It quickly became clear that a stamping system was the most suitable solution. Thanks to our network of professionals, we were very reactive, and our stamps were ready in less than 24 hours. We had two stamps made.

This project, like many others, had very tight deadlines.
Everything was delivered on time by us directly to the event location.
Plexiglass document holders with magnets

Product presentation through its 3D modeling. This work allows for specifying the details of the display. Dimensions, thickness, materials

Storage of 2000 displays in its manufacturing plant in Ile de France

Creation of an explanatory user guide for in-store staff, inserted by hand into each display.

Packaging and labeling of cartons for delivery
This project truly represents our core business.
Indeed, we specialize in the presentation of objects and works of art in plexiglass, both standard and custom-made.
Indeed, we specialize in the presentation of objects and works of art in plexiglass, both standard and custom-made.
Once the request was formalized, we quickly provided a 3D prototype drawing of our display so that the Longchamp teams could familiarize themselves with the object. Thanks to this preparatory tool, we can specify certain product details, dimensions, and its strengths.
This magnetic display represents the high-end of plexiglass presentation. Indeed, it is composed of two 5 mm thick plates joined by four magnets. These magnets, located at the four corners, are highly resistant. By acquiring this product, the Longchamp teams know that they can reuse them very regularly in their boutiques. These displays can be handled many times without losing their shine.
To provide our client with efficient and quality service, we created an explanatory notice for in-store staff. For example, it is essential to remove the blue protective layer to obtain the transparent effect of the plexiglass.
This notice was manually inserted between each part of the display. We also managed the packaging and loading of the 2000 displays onto trucks for shipping.
For this project, we controlled the entire production chain, from the initial request to shipping.

Cushions for the 2020 Christmas window display

Receipt of velvet rolls supplied by Longchamp

Production of 48/48cm square cushions in a workshop in Saint-Ouen.

Packaging in pairs with bundling and shipping logistics to all Longchamp boutiques worldwide.

Staging of the cushions in the Champs Elysées boutique windows.

Unlike the display project, this one pushed us beyond the limits of our expertise and our network. And we admit, we really enjoyed it. This time it was about making 270 cushions. One part made of velvet for the flagship stores and the other in suedette. The specifications were clear: 270 cushions, 48 centimeters square, in green velvet and suedette. This green is the brand's emblematic color. Thanks to this request, we met new trades, such as the fabric wholesalers at the Saint-Pierre market and the manufacturing workshop located just a stone's throw from our store, which carried out the entire production.
So, we added another string to our bow.
Once the cushions were packed in pairs, all that remained was to affix their shipping labels. This was a very rigorous and meticulous task. Finally, once everything was labeled, a carrier came to collect the entire production. And our small cushions, made in a workshop at the Puces de Paris Saint-Ouen, now grace 5th Avenue or Regent's Street, and we are very proud of that.
Once again, we were present to check, correct, and validate each step of the production.
To offer you a turnkey service ranging from design to packaging production, we have created a packaging station opposite our store. There you will find packaging materials sold at retail, such as cardboard boxes, tape, and bubble wrap bags. This is also where we create our custom packaging, especially for antique dealers at the Puces de Paris Saint-Ouen. This service is a real plus because it allows us to be present and validate the last step of the project, namely packaging and shipping.
We gain autonomy and responsiveness.
Wooden pedestal for the brand's corner at Le Bon Marché.
Project nature: as part of Longchamp's collaboration with Toiletpaper magazine, the brand wanted to create a pedestal to receive a rod with a resin horse.
An installation entirely in the spirit of the magazine, whose visuals are often very pop and colorful.
For this project, we stick to the rule and start with a preparatory drawing created on the computer. This drawing is also provided to the client so that they can validate the dimensions and finishes.

Preparatory study for the pedestal project.
We made this veneered wooden pedestal with very precise finishes to achieve the most accomplished effect possible.
To create this pedestal, we worked by combining two types of cornices so that the finishes were as perfect as possible.

On-site installation and application of the decorative sticker

Installation of the horse on the pedestal.
Two holes had been previously made in the pedestal for the rod to fit perfectly.

And here is the result.
The pedestal is covered with a sticker related to the brand. The horse, the brand's emblem, is placed in the center. The corner is ready to welcome its customers in the best conditions.
